California Online Poker Hearing Scheduled for April 27th

California’s known for a lot of things, but Internet gambling isn’t one of them. That could all change on Monday if a bill is passed.

AB 431, a bill that was introduced in early 2015, calls for the authorization to operate “an Internet poker website within the borders of the state.” If passed, the state’s gambling commission will have to provide a set of regulations for intrastate Internet gambling.

As we’ve talked about before, California has an astronomical amount of residents. Those residents have been hoping for some sort of Internet gambling for years. If legalized, many things will happen.
