3-card Monte
A confidence card game in which the player tries to find the money card among 3 face-down cards
"3-card Monte" is a classic street con game that involves three playing cards, usually with one card being a distinct color or marked in some way to identify it, such as the "money card." The dealer shuffles the cards around quickly, and the player is challenged to track the location of the money card.
The game is designed to deceive the player, as the dealer often uses sleight of hand techniques to manipulate the cards, making it difficult for the player to follow the correct card. The player typically wagers money on their guess, but the game is usually rigged in favor of the dealer, leading to a loss for the player.
3-card Monte is illegal in many places due to its fraudulent nature and is often associated with street hustlers who use it to scam unsuspecting individuals.
