Casino Hold’em Poker
A casino table game based on Texas Hold’em poker, but played against the house instead of other players.
Casino Hold'em Poker is a popular variant of poker played against the house rather than against other players. It is based on the traditional Texas Hold'em poker game but has specific rules and features that differentiate it.
In Casino Hold'em, the game typically involves the following elements:
Objective: Players aim to create the best five-card poker hand using two hole cards dealt to them and five community cards.
Betting Structure: Players start by placing an initial bet, known as the "ante." They then receive two private cards and have the option to either fold (forfeit their ante) or continue by placing a second bet, known as the "call," which is typically double the ante.
Community Cards: After the initial betting round, the dealer reveals three community cards (the "flop"), followed by a fourth card (the "turn") and a fifth card (the "river"). Players use these community cards in combination with their hole cards to form the best possible hand.
Dealer Qualification: The dealer must have at least a qualifying hand, usually a pair of fours or better, for players to win their bets. If the dealer does not qualify, players who have not folded win even money on their ante, while their call bet is returned.
Payouts: If the dealer qualifies and the player has a better hand, the player wins both their ante and call bets. Payouts for winning hands can vary based on the strength of the hand, often following a standard poker hand ranking system.
Bonus Bets: Many casinos also offer optional side bets, such as a "bonus" bet that pays out based on the strength of the player's hand, regardless of the dealer's hand.
Casino Hold'em Poker is popular due to its simplicity, fast pace, and the excitement of playing against the house rather than other players.
