River

In poker, the final card dealt in a hand of stud or hold‘em.

In poker, the term "river" refers to the fifth and final community card that is dealt face-up on the table during a game of Texas Hold'em or Omaha. The river follows the "turn," which is the fourth community card. After the river is dealt, players have one last opportunity to make their best five-card hand using any combination of their hole cards and the community cards. Following the river, a final round of betting occurs before the showdown, where players reveal their hands to determine the winner.
