Stud Poker
One of the two basic forms of poker game (the other is draw poker) and played with open or exposed cards (up cards) and with one or more concealed cards known as hole cards (down cards).
Stud Poker is a variant of poker in which players are dealt a combination of face-up and face-down cards over multiple betting rounds. Unlike other popular forms of poker, such as Texas Hold'em, players do not share community cards. Instead, each player receives their own unique set of cards, and the objective is to make the best five-card hand possible.
There are several popular versions of Stud Poker, with Seven Card Stud being the most common. In Seven Card Stud, each player is dealt a total of seven cards—three face-down (known as "hole cards") and four face-up (known as "door cards"). Players use these cards to form their best five-card hand, and there are typically five betting rounds throughout the game.
Stud Poker requires strategic thinking, as players must pay attention to the cards that have been revealed and make decisions based on their own hand and the visible cards of their opponents. The game is often played in a fixed-limit betting structure, but it can also be played with pot-limit or no-limit betting formats.
