Win Rate

1 min read

In poker, the average amount a player wins per hour or per 100 hands.

"Win Rate" refers to the percentage of bets or plays that result in a win compared to the total number of bets or plays made. It is a key performance metric used in gambling and gaming to evaluate a player's success over a certain period or number of games.

For example, if a player makes 100 bets and wins 55 of them, their win rate would be calculated as follows:

Win Rate = (Number of Wins / Total Bets) × 100 Win Rate = (55 / 100) × 100 = 55%

A higher win rate indicates a more successful betting strategy or gameplay, while a lower win rate may suggest the opposite. It's important to note that win rate alone does not account for the amount of money won or lost, as it does not consider the size of the bets or the payouts.
