William Hill streamlines its operations

In a bid to streamline its European offerings, sports betting operator William Hill will soon be shutting down three of its online brands, namely Casino Club, 21Nova, and EuroGrand.

This strategic move will allow the brand to focus more of its energy on its Mr. Green and William Hill gaming platforms, with players from the three closing casinos already being encouraged to migrate to either of these via rewards incentives. Whether or not players choose to make this move, they will have until 24 January 2022 to withdraw their funds before operations across all three casinos cease permanently.

Once the casinos have been taken offline, William Hill will still continue to operate six online gaming sites in the UK, a market responsible for 64% of its online revenue. With a smaller pool of gaming brands on which to concentrate in the year ahead, this more streamlined approach “comes as part of [a] continuous evaluation of [William Hill’s] brands and business footprint”, according to a statement released by the company.

What does 2022 have in store for William Hill? Only time will tell, but our hope for its players is continued success, prosperity, and quality entertainment.

Happy Spinning 🙂
