Craps
A casino game played with two 6-sided dice with the objective of betting on the point totals or more specific outcome of each roll.
Craps is a popular dice game typically played in casinos and often in informal settings. The game involves players betting on the outcome of the roll or a series of rolls of two six-sided dice. The primary objective is to predict the results of the dice rolls, with various betting options available.
In craps, players can make several types of bets, including:
Pass Line Bet: This is the most basic bet, where players bet that the shooter (the person rolling the dice) will win by rolling a 7 or 11 on the come-out roll or by establishing a point and rolling that point again before rolling a 7.
Don't Pass Bet: This is essentially the opposite of the pass line bet. Players bet that the shooter will lose by rolling a 2, 3, or 7 on the come-out roll, or by establishing a point and rolling a 7 before hitting that point.
Come and Don't Come Bets: These bets are similar to the pass and don't pass bets but can be made after the point has been established.
Odds Bets: After a point is established, players can make additional bets that have no house edge, known as "taking odds" or "laying odds."
Craps is known for its fast-paced action and the excitement generated by the players and the crowd. The game has a variety of betting options, making it appealing to both novice and experienced gamblers.
